Dr. Siva: Dr. Siva (Sivanesan Sivakaruniam) is a seasoned governance, risk management, and compliance expert with more than 30 years of professional experience across industries such as public sector, energy, oil and gas, public healthcare, property development, logistics, and marine. He holds globally recognized certifications including Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), which strengthen his ability to lead audits, implement internal controls, and manage enterprise risks in line with international standards. Dr. Siva has also spearheaded investigations into irregularities and financial frauds, resulting in stronger security and compliance frameworks, while his extensive background in corporate governance and risk management provides the foundation for helping organizations align with ISO 27001 standards for information security

As an ACLP-certified trainer, Dr. Siva has designed and facilitated workshops for government agencies, corporations, and professional institutes, covering enterprise risk management, internal audits, compliance, and sustainability. He has also undertaken specialized training in data protection, cybersecurity, and stakeholder engagement at NUS School of Computing and industry academies, further enhancing his expertise in information security governance. His teaching approach emphasizes practical, real-world application of ISO 27001 requirements, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills to establish, implement, and audit effective information security management systems.
