Tan Woei Ming: Tan Woei Ming is ACLP certified trainer. He graduated from Nanyang Technological University, School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, He has a MASTER OF INTELLIGENT SYSTEM from NUS. He has worked as DATA SCIENCE LEAD and DATA SCIENTIST in Micron Technologies.

Richard Wan: Richard Wan is a ACTA certified trainer. Richard Wan has more than 30 years of experience in software development in various computer disciplines, including computer vision, communication and digital publishing.

Technical expertise includes: Windows, Linux developments with C, C++, Delphi (Object Pascal), Visual Studio, OpenCV. Embedded system programming including microcontrollers, Arduino, Pi, BeagleBone etc.

Carey : Carey is an undergraduate at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). He has previously interned at DSO National Laboratories, where he co-wrote a research paper on differential cryptanalysis on block ciphers. As an avid game developer, he has clinched 1st runner-up twice consecutively at the Singapore Games Creation Competition.

Besides having a vested interest in machines, he tries in his capacity to make a difference in society. In 2014, he co-wrote a research paper pinpointing the location of various civil unrests in Singapore, and advocated for the importance of civil unrest commemorative markers at the Anatomy of a Riot conference organised by the Singapore Heritage Society. Thereafter, he was invited to intern at the Ministry of Home Affairs to finetune the research. If one pays attention when crossing the junction of Alexandra Road and Tanglin Road, one can spot a blue rectangular marker commemorating the 1955 Hock Lee Bus Riots. The commemorative marker was established by the National Heritage Board after consultations with his team and the Ministry of Home Affairs.

When he is not trying to meet the demands of being an undergraduate in Singapore, he might be taking solitary walks in parks, or working on his pet projects involving Arduino or Raspberry Pi microprocessors.

Provide printed courseware so that we can take notes and follow through the materials well, virtual class sucks as it is the participants self to print, clear environment and even hv to setup our own environment for lab. requirements for the lab were not clear and we had setup the linux server with limited access and encounter issues with lab exercises.

I went for Linux Beginners and Unix and Bash Scripting, I noticed that 90% of the content of the course material is the same. So I was why Unix and Bash Scripting only covered in the last 2-3 modules. (Posted on 9/5/2019)
