Bernard Low: Bernard Low is a ACTA certified trainer. He is also a Project Director at RIFA Singapore.

Felicia Kang: Felicia Kang is a ACTA certified trainer. Felicia is a urban farmer maintaining a few EGC's edible gardens, namely Wheelock Place rooftop garden, Raffles City rooftop garden, garden at Open Farm Community and EGC retail outlet at HortPark. Her daily work involved watering, pruning and checking on plants. She had to tend to the nursery from saving and growing seeds, to propagating stems and transplanting plants. She also needs to take regular measures such as pest control, application of fertilizers and soil amendments to ensure those edible plants were sustainable for weekly harvesting. All these might seem trivial but they were vital to ensure healthy soil and happy plants. On adhoc basis, she maintained clients' edible gardens and assisted in setting up foodscape projects. With her farming experience, she was tasked to support the education arm of EGC in planning and coordinating with schools and EGC trainers for schools' gardening workshops and projects.
She said that "Farming or gardening is more than just growing plants, it hones our observation skill, trains our patience and resilience, and improves our physical and mental health. Last but not least, it lets us enjoy and share our labour of love."

A well informative and structural course !
i had attended other similar courses but this is the best ! Much more experience trainer and don't think you need to attend any other hydroponics lesson after this class. You can really learn alot and sometimes can be too much information within a day - good to spilt into 2 days course.
Common gardening myths and belief are well explained or given a scientific approach of rational.
Me and my group of friends are all looking forward to intermediate or even advanced class !

Cons :
Attendees can be excited sometimes and get rowdy, and trainer can find them hard to controlled...

It's fantastic.
Would be even better if we got to choose the seeds for the kit and also, have a little better time management. Training had to rush at the end due to late start due to a lot of participants trickling in at the beginning.
Generally, class was very interactive which was great. However, some points were hard to hear as there was a lot of talk by the participants all around. Might be good if the trainer had a mic, or perhaps, there were fewer participants in each class. (Posted on 12/13/2020)

More hands on instead of just lecture based
The tour ard the farm is good. Disappointed that we were not able to do hands-on activity. Trainer simply used slides to show us. It will be more helpful if there are videos or hands-on activity so that we can visualise how the planting works. (Posted on 10/18/2020)
