Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) Training

The Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) Training equips developers with the skills needed to design, build, and deploy cloud-native applications on Kubernetes. This course covers essential Kubernetes concepts, including multi-container pod design, workload resources, persistent storage, and deployment strategies like blue/green and canary releases. You will learn how to use Helm and Kustomize for package management, perform rolling updates, and manage API deprecations effectively.

Additionally, the course dives into application observability, security, and networking in Kubernetes. You will explore debugging techniques, health probes, logging, authentication, role-based access control (RBAC), and resource limits. Hands-on practice with Ingress rules, NetworkPolicies, ConfigMaps, and Secrets ensures a deep understanding of real-world Kubernetes application development. This training prepares you for the CKAD certification, advancing your career in DevOps, cloud engineering, and software development.

The board used for the course, Raspberry Pi Zero W, is slow to respond during our hands-on lab. Suggest to use perhaps a slightly higher end board eg. Raspberry PI 3, to improve the practical lab experience in the future.

I like to thank the Trainer Ken for conducting the IOT course. He has helped me understand more about IOT and the Raspberry PI hardware, despite the time constraint. Good work and keep it up :) (Posted on 8/25/2019)
